Happy, Merry, Sorry…

We have gone through so many holidays since the last time I posted that I wasn’t sure what to title this post so

Happy Thanksgiving! Merry Christmas!  Happy New Year!!  and well sorry it has taken us this long to post.  Needless to say, we have been busy and we are so thankful of all the things that we are doing and filling our lives with here.

If I were to put into one word, my reflection on these past couple of months it would be PROVISION.  The Lord has shown his favor upon us by providing us with abundance.

First of all, we have an abundance of SNOW!!!  I can’t tell you how much we, Brian, Connor and I love the snow.  Yes, we are the annoying people in the Northeast who get giddy about the snow!  From what we have heard, we have had an  unusual amount of snow this winter!   I see it as God’s special moment with me, reminding me how much he loves me.

We also have had an abundance of love from friends and family.  Many of you sent us Christmas cards which we decorated our house with.

We also were blessed with many Christmas gifts from family.  As well, as being able to spend some priceless quality time with our siblings, parents and grandparents!  That time was so much fun and we were so grateful to be in the South (though I did miss the snow!)

We also while we were home, were able to see some friends and our family at Fairview.  It was so wonderful to worship again with our family and to remind of your support.

THANK YOU FAIRVIEW FAMILY FOR ALL OF YOUR LOVE, PRAYERS, AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT.

We also have had an abundance of activities to keep us busy and we are so grateful for this.  I am busy working about 35 hours week.  Brian, in the mean time, is either going to class, playing with Connor or studying!  Along with that, I was in a Bible study on Wednesday nights, started some sewing projects, and caught up on the time I didn’t get spend with Connor on the evenings and weekends!   We also have been doing fun things with friends such as sledding, eating dinner together, and staying up late playing games.

We even have friends that want to watch Connor so Brian and I can have a date night every so often.

I would say this is in short a nutshell of what we have neglected to post and blog about.

We are so grateful for your prayers and support.

God has truly met us here and as I said before shown his favor in our lives.  We truly are happy and joyful to be in the Lord’s will and are humbled that He has called us to such an important place.

Please pray for Brian as he starts a new semester, that he will continue to study well and most importantly learn a lot.

Please pray for both Brian and I that we will do a better job of managing our time.

So here is to 2011 and here is to doing a better job at blogging!
